On the 4th of October, exactly 792 years ago, the Franciscan monk Francis of Assisi died, a man, who like us has fallen in love with abandoned animals. Let’s think again for today’s International Day of Animals, whether we can really care for our four-legged friend before we even get it. Unfortunately, in spite of all the efforts of the volunteers, many animals still end up in the animal shelters. This is also known to the head of the Pilsen Animal Shelter for Animals in Emergency, Mr. Kokoška.
