B7…

…What comes to your mind when you say B7? Vitamin? Guitar chord? A label for a Bluetooth standard, or maybe a car model designation? All of these are correct answers.

But B7 is also the designation for an extreme race, a mountain ultra-marathon, Beskydská Sedmička. And it was none other than our colleague Marek Podlipský who successfully conquered this extreme race between 30th August – 1st September 2024. He is a tough guy!

In a time of 28:27:55, he covered the route of 101 km, from Třinec to Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, across 7 Beskydy peaks (Velký Javorový, Sedlo Lipový, Travný traverz, Kykulka, Lysá Hora, Smrk, Čertův Mlýn, Radhošť, Velký Javorník).

Big congratulations to Marek for reaching the finish line within the set limit, we bow down to such performance!

We must also mention that in our #UBKgeeks team, collegiality, friendship, and support prevail. The proof of this is our colleague Eliška Moravčíková who was a strong support for Marek throughout the entire race.
